XT Phosphor Bronze strings deliver all this and more, with superior break resistance, improved tuning stability, and longer life compared to our standard phosphor bronze strings. The XT coating provides advanced corrosion resistance while preserving the warm tones and natural feel of uncoated strings.
Underneath their coating, these XT acoustic guitar strings feature a NY Steel core, phosphor bronze winding, and Fusion Twist technology for superior break resistance and tonal versatility, making them ideal for a wide range of acoustic styles. The 12-53 Light gauge strings are the most popular in our acoustic guitar line, offering well-balanced tones and playability.
