Bass drum drumhead
Evans EMAD Onyx Bass Drum Heads are made of a single ply of 10-mil film that creates a pretty balanced punch with moderate attack and focused low-end frequencies. This head is fairly versatile, able to fit right in across a wide range of styles from jazz to metal.
The Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping system – or EMAD – affects how much attack and resonance the head produces without having to remove the head itself. Think of it like a circular pillow.
