One of the Apollo’s benchmarks is its Real-Time UAD Processing. It lets you use the entire catalog of UAD plug-ins with near-zero latency. The Apollo Solo USB Heritage Edition goes even further, allowing you to enjoy 5 collections of plug-ins worth over €1,300, including the complete suite of UA Teletronix and 1176 compressors, all Pultec equalizers, Unison UA 610 mic preamps and Pure Plate reverb. These high-end processors included in the Heritage Edition are added to the « Realtime Analog Classics » bundle supplied with the Apollo Solo USB. No other professional audio interface comes with such a comprehensive collection of classic analog processor emulations.
Two Unison preamps
The Apollo Solo USB Heritage Edition is equipped with two Unison mic preamps, allowing you to record with exact emulations of Neve, API, Manley, SSL, Avalon, Helios and Universal Audio mic preamps*. Exclusive to Universal Audio, Unison technology features a proprietary hardware/software integration that precisely reproduces the sound of these legendary tube and transistor mic preamps, including their input impedance, the « sweet spots » of their gain stages and the circuit behaviors of the original models. You’ll also find Unison technology on the Apollo Solo USB’s front-panel Hi-Z instrument input, adapting impedance and gain when using guitar and bass amp models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg and more.
LUNA, recording software with accelerated real-time monitoring
The Apollo Heritage Edition works with all major recording software, such as Ableton Live , ProTools, Cubase and Logic Pro. But they become a fully integrated recording system with LUNA, UA’s powerful free Mac application. Thanks to its Accelerated Realtime Monitoring™ technology, LUNA lets you record and mix with a highly intuitive interface, an unlimited number of audio and MIDI tracks, full AU plug-in support, and access to an exclusive suite of LUNA Instruments and Extensions.
The legendary sound of UA, also natively with UAD Spark
The Apollo Heritage Edition includes the plug-ins included in UAD Spark, UA’s collection of native plug-ins, offered separately by subscription. You can also increase your power by sharing the load between the Apollo’s DSP and its UAD plug-ins, and your computer’s processor with the UAD Spark plug-ins.
