The bridge pickup uses dual Alnico 5 blade magnets for more power and sustain. The neck pickup uses two ceramic magnets and special windings for fullness and warmth. Both pickups will increase output and expand the tonal range of a stock bass.

We moved the Rickenbacker bass tone from great to downright amazing. The benefit of this pickup is more power and sustain for those wanting a bigger push without tonal coloration. Alnico 5 magnets are the force behind this bridge replacement. It is suggested to replace your pickups as a set, however, it is not necessary. It is slightly larger than the stock bridge pickup, and so the original chrome mounting ring cannot be used with it.
